Candace O'Barr Jones
Leader
Candace O'Barr Holleman Jones, co-founder of eDeposition, brings more than 30 years of experience as a Certified Court Reporter serving as a trusted resource for her clients’ litigation needs. Few reporters in the State of Mississippi have as much experience reporting and managing complex litigation disputes as Candace, including cases involving multiple parties, extensive discovery, and complex subject matters. Over the past three decades, Candace and her team have been the reporters of choice in high-stakes cases throughout the country, providing real-time transcripts, daily copies, and a host of other services needed to fit her clients’ unique needs. She has worked extensively in Asbestos, Silica, Tobacco, Lead Paint, Welding Fume, Food Misbranding, Pharmaceutical and Insurance Bad Faith litigation, as well as others. Her experience also includes cases involving intense media scrutiny, such as the deposition of Jeffery Wigand later depicted in the 1999 film The Insider.
In addition to providing outstanding service to her clients, Candace has invested significant time in the service of her community and industry. She currently serves as Vice President of the Mississippi Court Reporters Association, a Member of the MCRA Board of Directors, and a Member of the A to Z Committee, which is committed to recruiting future court reporters and teaching them a free Intro to Stenography Course. She is also a MS Delegate of the National Congress of State Associations, an umbrella of the National Court Reporters Association, which is a forum of state leaders.
Candace began her freelancing career on the MS Gulf Coast in 1985, starting out as O'Barr & Associates, which later became State-Wide Reporters. State-Wide Reporters opened a Jackson office in 2001 and both offices joined LegaLink in 2003. Candace served as Executive Vice President of LegaLink, Inc. from 2003-2005, and Executive Vice President of Merrill Legal Solutions from 2005-2015.
In 2015, she and Adam Jones founded eDeposition with the goal of offering unparalleled litigation support services by utilizing state-of-the-rt technology and recruiting excellent freelance reporters and legal videographers. Candace

Adam H. Jones received his Bachelor Degree from the University of Mississippi. He is a graduate of the 2004 Leadership Class of Rankin County, MS.
With over 15 years of paralegal, case management and litigation support experience, Adam has managed projects in several complex multi-party litigations throughout the U.S. Adam is a certified Relativity Sales Professional and an active member of the Mississippi Paralegals Association.
Lori P. Gallaspy
Leader
Lori P. Gallaspy, RPR, CSR graduated cum laude from Belhaven College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and attended the Professional Institute of Court Reporting from 2000-2002 as a distance learner. She is a Registered Professional Reporter and Certified Shorthand Reporter and has been reporting 15 years.
In addition to her free-lance reporting, Lori is also a Federal Grand Jury Court Reporter with the Department of Justice. She is a member of the National Court Reporters Association and the Mississippi Court Reporting Association.
Becky Lynn Logan
Leader
Becky Lynn Logan is a Registered Professional Reporter and a Certified Court Reporter and has been practicing over 10 years. Becky Lynn is past president and treasurer of the Mississippi Court Reporters Association. She has also served on the Reporter Advisory Committee of Merrill Corporation.
Becky Lynn is a member of the National Court Reporters Association and the Mississippi Court Reporters Association.
Natasha D. Hall
Leader
Natasha D. Hall, CLVS received her Bachelor Degree in Radio, Television and Film from the University of Southern Mississippi. She became certified as a legal videographer in 2002. With over 15 years of litigation support experience, she has worked with attorneys and law firms of all sizes throughout the U.S. in state and federal courts.
Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, Natasha has experience in hundreds of depositions, trials, mediations, and has testified and been accepted by the Court as a Forensic Audio, Visual and Imaging expert.
Melinda Bowers
Leader
Melinda Bowers, CCR, a certified shorthand reporter, graduated from the Court Reporting Institute of Houston in 1997. Melinda became a Texas CSR in January of 1998 where she embarked on her career in court reporting. During this time, Melinda gained invaluable experience working as a freelance court reporter for various agencies, including Independent Reporting in Houston, Texas and Wendy Ward Roberts & Associates in Dallas, Texas.
In 1999, Melinda married and moved to Mississippi where she started Bowers Court Reporting. She has built her business on her reputation for excellence and professionalism in Mississippi and Alabama. Lawyers and court reporting agencies nationwide trust her to handle their most technical and most pivotal testimony in their cases.
Melinda is a hardworking perfectionist with an unyielding dedication to the industry who strives to deliver a perfect transcript on time, every time!
Melinda’s love and passion for the career of court reporting motivates her to stay up-to-date with the ever-changing technology of the industry, utilizing “the latest and greatest” equipment and software. She is a member of the National Court Reporters Association and currently serving as president elect of the Mississippi Court Reporters Association.
Kati Vogt, RPR, RMR, RDR, CRR
Leader
Kati Vogt holds the national certifications of Registered Professional Reporter, Registered Merit Reporter, Certified Realtime Reporter, and the elite certification of Registered Diplomate Reporter. She has been practicing since 1999. She is an active member of the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA) and the Mississippi Court Reporters Association (MCRA). She previously served on the MCRA'S Board of Directors and is currently serving on its Freelance Committee.
In addition to her freelance deposition experience, Kati has extensive experience in the courtroom, both on the state and federal level, providing realtime and daily copy transcripts.
Gabrielle Chambless, RPR
Leader
Gabrielle Chambless currently holds the national certification of Registered Professional Reporter. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Marketing in 2015. She is also a graduate of College of Court Reporting, where she graduated with high honors in 2017. She has been reporting since 2017. Gabrielle is an active member of the National Court Reporters Association and the Mississippi Court Reporters Association.
Amy Key, RPR, CSR
Court Reporter
Amy Key, RPR, CSR, has been a court reporter for 15 years, beginning in Hattiesburg, MS, until she moved to Jackson in 2012. She is Nationally and State Certified. Amy previously owned Aspire Reporting, LLC, until becoming employed as an Official Reporter with the U.S. District Court, and she is currently a full-time court reporter with eDeposition.
She was born and raised in Slidell, Louisiana. In grade school, Amy was an avid softball and volleyball player. She then attained a softball scholarship as a fastpitch pitcher and third baseman at The W and Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL. She then attended court reporting school at Franklin College of Court Reporting in Metairie, LA, and has been a court reporter ever since.
Amy’s hobbies are cooking, working out, and learning about health and nutrition. Amy finds relaxation in her quiet time sitting behind the computer with her headphones in perfecting transcripts for her clients.
Theresa Lumley
Court Reporter
Theresa Lumley is a Certified Court Reporter and a Registered Professional Reporter who has over 30 years’ experience in court reporting. She graduated from Copiah-Lincoln Community College and completed the court reporting program at the University of Southern Mississippi. She worked in the freelance arena for seven years before becoming an official court reporter for the 22nd Judicial District of Mississippi where she served there for 28 years. She has reported many high-profile cases while serving as an official court reporter, including Asbestos, Tobacco, Lead Paint, Welding Fume, and Silica, to name a few.
Theresa has served as president, president-elect, vice president, and parliamentarian for the Mississippi Court Reporters Association. She has also served in the capacity of Continuing Education Chair for the Mississippi Court Reporters Association for over 15 years and has volunteered her time mentoring many students.
